After losing their opener, the Trashed Pandas were ready for their second game of the kickball season.
They started strong and rolled to a 10-5 win over the Free Agents on March 12 at NASA field 1.
“We got all the errors out in the first game and came with focus today and had fun,” team captain Jodi Turk said.
Winning pitcher Bennie Pokemire had two hits and scored twice for the Trashed Pandas (1-1). Ronnie Schilling added two hits and a run.
The Trashed Pandas scored eight unearned runs and led 10-3 after four innings. Free Agents (0-2) made nine errors in the six innings.
Ian Hanson went 3-for-3 with a run batted in and a run scored for Free Agents. Drew Lewis, Jason Schnecke and Greta Koenig had two hits apiece. Jeremiah Lopez took the loss.
“We forgot our strategy kind of early on,” team captain Carly Romnes said. “And then we kind of got it back together and worked a little better there in the second half.”
