BBC Antiques Road Trip tell fans 'don't worry' as they share major show update

Antiques Road Trip is set to return to TV screens later this year, following the end of series 30

Antiques Road Trip has shared an exciting update with fans following the conclusion of series thirty. On the show's official social media a post was shared on Sunday, 16 March confirming the BBC show will return for its 31st season a lot sooner than you might think.

A snap showing presenters Tahmina Ghaffar and David Harper donned in safety gear was posted online as the series commences filming.

"Thanks for watching Antiques Road Trip! This series might be over, but don't worry, Series 31 is already 'work in progress'!" read the caption along with the image, hinting at more antiquing escapades.

The reveal sent waves of excitement through the show's fanbase with comments flooding in expressing their eagerness for the new episodes to air.

"Whew! You had us worried there for a moment! We LOVE you guys here in the States! In fact, we binge you constantly. But please don't tell anyone!" a fan from across the pond admitted.

Another fan echoed: "Yaaay Series 31 is already "work in progress"! Already looking forward to watching it," and the levity continued with a third chipping in: "Got you doing extra work on the side!"

Initially announced in February, the producers have promised 20 new episodes set to grace our screens on BBC One later this year, ensuring that our appetites for antique antics will be well satisfied, reports the Express.


Izzie Balmer, an antiques aficionado, couldn't contain her excitement in a recent statement, revealing that being part of Antiques Road Trip and Antiques Roadshow is the apex of her year.

"Filming these shows is truly the highlight of my year, so I'm delighted that they're both coming back for more riveting journeys and heartwarming stories on BBC One," she gushed.
